Aileen Judith De La Ree Valencia

Aileen De La Ree Valencia is a designer, maker, and artist whose practice is rooted in empathy, intentionality, pluralism, and respect for humanity’s—and consequently design’s—evolving and imperfect nature. She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Virginia Tech in 2020 and her Master of Fine Arts in Furniture Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2025. 

Committed to expanding beyond the constraints of the singular narrative, she explores the nuances of her own culture to add to a landscape of diverse perspectives. Aileen approaches each design with a meticulous eye for detail, bringing a human touch and intentionality to every aspect of her work. Her work is an ongoing exploration of how art and design can not only reflect but also shape a more inclusive, compassionate, and varied world. 

Her work has been featured at ICFF, the Gulfstream Center of Design Gallery, Designboom’s online magazine, and reiceved a student notable award from Core77 in Furniture & Lighting.
